Pioneers of Australian Country Music, Rick and Thel Carey were well known as Mr & Mrs Country Music, and are now legends to a whole past generation. Touring Australia for over 30 Years, their traveling show covered the length and breadth of this vast continent, entertaining millions of people with their husband and wife duo act, an array of variety acts, and of course not to forget, comedy with Cousin Ratsack. It was a 'big' event when the Rick & Thel Show came to town! These very rare videos are some of the very few 'home movies' taken of the show, in existence today. While the quality of the footage reflects how it was filmed, we thought it was way too valuable not to release. We would like to say a special thank you to good friends Artie and Betty Hearne, who filmed this show in Saddleworth, SA back in 1984.
